With the hotel upgrade, Toro Latin Kitchen and Lounge replaced the longtime Second Home restaurant. Created in partnership with critically acclaimed celebrity chef Richard Sandoval, the menu offers a rollercoaster of flavors with must-haves, including the blackened tuna tacos, crispy shrimp, sweet corn empanadas, fresh ceviche and Bison Tradition.

For drinks, their Marcado margarita is their most popular but for the most opulent cocktail, the star of the show is the Chance encounter, though there’s nothing flippant about it – served in a self-contained atrium-like case with Laws four-grain bourbon and dry ice to top it off. Two masterpieces complete the Hotel Clio: the Clayton Lane Fine Arts Galleryand Relevant Gallerieswhich features only the work of award-winning photographer David Yarrow. Yarrow – who is best known for documenting the natural world from new perspectives with large archival pigment prints – has worked with top models and celebrities including Cindy Crawford and Russell Wilson, all of whom are featured in the gallery in larger than life black and white prints.

Just across from the Clio Hotel, Clayton Lane Fine Arts Gallery, also owned by the same company as Relevant Galleries (AD Galleries), showcases a variety of artists with different mediums and subjects. For 20 years they have been the exclusive stockist of Dr Suess pieces and have featured works by Dahli and colorful pop art by artist De Von. They also feature international and local artists with new exhibitions every month.
