BATTALION 7, ICEDOGS 1

NORTH BAY, Ont. – Seven different scorers and a solid performance by goaltender Dom DiVincentiis helped the North Bay Battalion beat the Niagara IceDogs 7-1.

This victory is the battalion’s fifth consecutive victory (23-15-3-3).

It was the IceDogs’ ninth straight loss (10-24-2-1).

PETES 4, 67’s 1

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Peterborough outshot Ottawa every period en route to a 4-1 victory.

JR Avon had one goal, two assists and finished plus-two for the night for the Petes (15-24-2-0).

The loss ends the 67’s three-game winning streak (20-19-1-2).

SPITFIRES 4, SPIRIT 1

WINDSOR, Ont. – A strong first period saw the Windsor Spitfires claim a 4-1 victory over the Saginaw Spirit.

Matthew Magio scored a hat-trick in the Spitfires’ 21-13-2-2 win to end their two-game losing streak.

Matyas Sapovaliv scored the consolation goal for the Spirit (16-24-1-0).
