Hello, my name is Dave Lueneberg and I’m excited to join Dawson Creek Mirror as a new journalist covering sports and business.
For those who know me, and you might be one, there’s usually one of two things strapped to my right shoulder – a camera bag or a 15-pound cat named Taylor. Photography is one of my loves and I’m so excited to be able to share my passion with you, the reader – even if it’s not quite something entirely new.
For almost five years, I have had the chance to take photos and write stories for Dawson Creek Mirror and Alaska Highway News. Before that, I spent almost 20 years in radio and television in British Columbia, Alberta and, for a very long winter, in the Northwest Territories.
In 2014 I moved to Taylor and soon after became a Taylor District Councilor. Besides photography, I enjoy music, cycling and spending time with my two children, Taylor and Oreo. I also think there’s nothing better than snuggling up on the couch and reading a newspaper. (Go figure!)
