Dana Point Cosmic Creek Surf Festival Guide Saturday June 4, 2022 – OC Southern Beaches

0

The Cosmic Creek Surf Contest takes place at Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point, CA on Saturday, June 4, 2022 and Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Cosmic Creek is a free-to-watch family event.

Cosmic Creek is open to the public and is a veritable gathering of legends, groms, artisans and storytellers.
Over the years, Cosmic has grown into a soulful, popular and eclectic surf gathering; a celebration of heritage; a platform to exchange ideas about surfboards, music and art.

Cosmic Creek has five divisions

Locals, Creators & Innovators, Pros, Womens and a Body Surf Expression session presented by DaFin.

Pro and local entrants will draw cards prior to their round for priority draw selection.
Vissla will be supplying competitors with the original Single + Twin Fin options from the 70s and 80s, which means every round is truly a fluke as to which board you will be riding.
The Creators & Innovators division is made up of local shapers from across California.
While the Local & Pro divisions will ride original retro crafts, the Creators & Innovators division will ride self-formed boards inspired by the 70s and 80s eras.
