CROYDON – Pennsylvania and Bucks County are now home to the best international lager.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company (Neshaminy Creek) received gold for its Warehouse Lager on Thursday May 5 at the 2022 World Beer Cup, a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding brewers and their beers, by the Brewers Association.

It’s available in cans and on draft at Neshaminy Creek taprooms in Croydon, New Hope and Dublin, as well as bottle stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, including major retailers like ShopRite. , GIANT and Wegman’s.

Returning after cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, the 2022 World Beer Cup, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was the biggest competition to date, with 10,542 entries from 2,493 breweries representing 57 countries. Entries were evaluated by an elite panel of 226 judges from 28 countries. The Brewers Association has recognized people who have inspired, championed and innovated within the craft brewing industry since 1987, and the awards are widely regarded as the “Beer Olympics”.

“As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year, it is an incredible honor to win the top prize in the fifth most competitive category of the World Beer Cup,” said Chief Brewer Jason Ranck. “We are so proud of our entire team and extremely grateful to our fans and lager lovers who return to The Creek for more!”
